Re s p o n s i b i l i t i e s
- Use the allen wrench (hex key) to
lock down the pushbar on inside of the entrance door, so that the door can be opened from outdoors.
- Turn on the lights; switches are near the water fountain.
In cold weather seasons, turn thermostat up to approximately 65°
- Move the club’s wood storage
box and the maroon plastic tub of barrier nets and table skirts to the front edge of the stage for easy access by members.
- Set bulletin board at the front corner
of the stage near the entrance.
- Get the Dues notebook and a bank
envelope from the wood storage box and put it near the bulletin board for collection of dues. Write the day and date on the
envelope and your name or initials below the date.
- Collect Dues from players as they
arrive.
- Age 16 & up = $4;
under 16 = $2
- Enter each player’s name and
amount paid in the notebook.
- Set up the barriers according to
the floor plan posted on the bulletin board and on the undersides of the tables.
- Help arriving players lift tables
down from the stage and tell them how set up tables according to the floor plan if they don’t know.
- Instruct new members in proper handling
of tables (do not rest weight on the table legs until table is turned upright).
- It requires a minimum of two people
to set up a table to prevent damage.
- If many people are waiting to play,
get out the Sign Up Sheets and explain to new players how to use them.
- Make sure that players use “
skirts” for Tables 1 thru 6.
- Ensure that players not able to set
up a table get set-up help from you or other players.
- Between 8:30 and 8:45, count dues
money and check it against the notebook total, write the cash total in the book and on the envelope, then give the envelope
to the
